2023 TRANS & NONBINARY COHORT

 

Sam Mistry is an LA-based writer and actor with a background in theater, film, and television. His life as an artist began while growing up in his parents’ 40-seat blackbox theater in Minnesota. He has worked with Sundance Institute, Participant Media, The Black List, and Audible, and interned on the FX show Legion. He holds a B.A. in Drama from Bennington College, and has collaborated with performing arts companies in the US, UK, and India. Sam’s scripts have placed in Humanitas New Voices and the National Playwrights Conference, and he is a proud alum of the 2023 Disruptors cohort. In the spring of 2024, he will be performing in Tiny Beautiful Things at Chance Theater.
